What is a close-up act? Where to start? What are the key steps when you build an act? What are the mistakes to avoid? How can we enter a competition? Why are some acts more memorable than others?
All these questions will be answered. Thanks to my experience in the Magic French Team (close-up section), and the awards I won (FFAP and FISM ECM), I will give a complete analysis on this new kind of close-up, which looks more like stage magic.
All the points in the lecture are illustrated with concrete examples, like famous magic acts or my personnal work (FISM act and COPYCAT series).
